Lakes Area Tea Party Statement Concerning Representatives Cindy Gamrat and Todd Courser

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
West Bloomfield, MI (August 13, 2015)

Lakes Area Tea Party leader Marian Sheridan made the following statement on behalf of the LATP. “It is with deep regret that we recently learned of the extramarital affair between State Representatives Cindy Gamrat and Todd Courser and the bizarre attempt by Mr. Courser to cover it up”, stated Sheridan.

“The Tea Party movements in their respective areas were actively involved in the effort to elect Courser and Gamrat to the Michigan House. Their unfortunate actions in no way reflect the values and principles of those involved with any of the numerous Michigan Tea Party groups around the state”, continued Sheridan.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with the faithful spouses and with the children who will suffer because of Courser and Gamrat’s indiscretion,” concluded Sheridan.
